is a resin based product that can be applied as a coating to most surfaces or
be molded into a solid for a specific design or product.

none or very little preparation, depending on the surface to be
coated. The

ALLUMAGEL™
will bond to metal, paper, glass, wood, concrete,
cloth and some plastics.

is ALLUMAGEL™
applied to a surface?
|
ALLUMAGEL™
can be applied to
different surfaces using a variety of methods. If large areas are
to be coated, the use of an airless spray unit
will ensure the best and most economical method of coverage. Other
application methods include; brushing, rolling, screen printing etc.

How
long does it take to cure? |
The curing time for the UV
formula is 3 minutes for
touch
cure and 2 hours for total cure. The chemical formula takes 20
minutes
for touch cure and 24 hours for total cure.

Can ALLUMAGEL™
be mixed with other products such as paint to make it light emitting?
|
ALLUMAGEL™
is a substance that will not work if mixed with other products.
The ALLUMAGEL™
formulation must not be changed in any way and the product must be
applied as per the recommendations to achieve the expected results.

How long does ALLUMAGEL™
take to charge? |
ALLUMAGEL™
charges in daylight within 30 minutes and emits visible light in
darkness for over 24 hours. Hence
ALLUMAGEL™
can be a perpetual light source at night by charging during
daylight hours.

withstand
harsh climate
conditions?

Yes,
ALLUMAGEL™
is resin based
and because of this is extremely durable under harsh climatic conditions and

safe to use for people and the Environment.

There
are prescribed requirements to be followed when applying ALLUMAGEL™
in its uncured state. Protection is required for the operator and
surrounds.
ALLUMAGEL™

cured, is safe for people and the Environment. ALLUMAGEL™
should be treated in the same way as any polyester resin material.
Observe the safety instructions on the container.
ALLUMAGEL™
is not
radioactive.

and advertisements without the cost of installing or running power

The
coverage of ALLUMAGEL™
is dependent on the coating depth and the
method of application. The expected coverage from one liter of
ALLUMAGEL™
to a coating depth of one millimeter is approximately one square meter.
